As a business unfortunately, we do not cater for Gluten Free!
All our product could contain nut traces.
We do have a small selection of Vegan products available.

The important stuff 

At 42nd East Bakehouse, we believe in giving the customer the freshest products available.
Each order is freshly baked on day of dispatch, orders placed by 12pm Monday - Thursday will be delivered the next working day via DPD (U.K.) please note with increased volumes this can be 48-72 hours 
We always try to dispatch ahead of schedule. Please be aware in very busy periods the lead time could run over but just get in touch and we can give you an update on your order
Any last minute orders please contact us and we would do our upmost to squeeze you in without affecting the queue. 
Please drop a note on check out for ordering for a specific date in advance
We dispatch Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday each week.
 Your phone number/ email address will be inputted for tracking updates of your parcel or to be able to change delivery address/ leave in a safe place etc.
It is your responsibility to except your parcel and 42nd East Bakehouse are not liable for refunds on any parcels that are returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect delivery address that has been entered.
Additional courier fee will be applied to re send out your order

Refunds/ Returns/ Cancellation

Due to the nature of our business dealing with freshly baked products, all orders placed online are non refundable as your order would have been processed 
There is no exchange of baked goods once they have left our bakery
Cake/ pie flavour and texture is subjective, full refunds requested on flavour or texture after a cake has been accepted will not be honoured. You may qualify for a percentage of store credit if we deem the cake isn't at correct standard. Cakes/ pies must be returned in a timely manner (24 hours) Please understand that we cannot offer refunds for cakes/ pies that have been eaten. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 48 hours 
All products once they leave our shop/ delivered are the responsibility of the customer to store them correctly, if you would like advice on how best to store our product just let us know 
We are not responsible for our courier not being able to pick up from us due to unforeseen circumstances, if that happens your order will be shipped at the next available pick up
Once we have dispatched the order all responsibilities then lie with the courier which we take no responsibilities with any delivery issues but will always work to sort out any courier issues - by placing your order you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of sale
